Our Health and Safety Objectives

Management is responsible for ensuring that appropriate procedures are in place and that adequate resources are provided to implement this policy. Team leaders and supervisors are responsible for enforcing safe working practices on site and on the road. Employees must follow all safety instructions, use equipment correctly and report hazards, incidents or near misses without delay.
Risk Assessment and Safe Working Practices
We carry out risk assessments for our key activities, including domestic and commercial removals, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading vehicles, operating in residential streets and business premises, and handling large or fragile items. These assessments identify potential hazards and set out the control measures required.
Safe systems of work are developed from the findings of risk assessments and are communicated to all relevant staff. These procedures are reviewed regularly and whenever work practices, equipment or locations change.
Manual Handling and Lifting

Use of Vehicles and Driving Safety
Our vehicles are essential to providing a reliable man and van service, and we place strong emphasis on safe driving and vehicle operation. All drivers must hold appropriate licences and follow company rules regarding speed, parking, loading and unloading.
